ABOUT ME
Hey! My name is Wyatt Brannon, and I'm a student leader and researcher currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spain. So far in life I've lived in Seattle WA, The Woodlands TX, and Logan UT — three very different places with three different cultures and groups of people. In addition, upon my return in 2022, I will be attending Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania! During my travels in Spain, I will regularly update a blog detailing what I'm up to across the pond, and if you urgently need to contact me, then you may do so through this website.

My interests include (but are not limited to) systems biology, philosophy, and political science, generally with a computational bent. I've had the good fortune of taking my evolutionary biology research to the International Science Fair three times in a row. I've chosen to attend a liberal arts college as I believe that I will receive a better technical education as part of a more well-rounded education as opposed to the other way around.

While I cannot be involved in any non-church organizations while I am on mission, I am the founder of two extant organizations currently operating in Utah.
Research Initiative for Science and Engineering (RISE): a high school club dedicated to helping underserved students engage in academic research and compete in science fairs and similar competitions
Moderation and Civility: a small nonpartisan political organization helping people engage and debate from opposing sides of the political spectrum in an attempt to promote cross-ideological understanding

When I return home, I hope to continue helping connect others and uplift those around me in Pennsylvania. See you then!
