¡Oye todos!

Hoy yo trataré usar una manera nueva de escribir mis cartas semanales, y pondré las cosas que sucedieron esta semana en tres secciones: para mi cocina, la obra misional, y algunos pensamientos espiritual. Esta semana ha sido muy buen, como siempre, y espero que la semana próxima estará el mismo.

Noticias de cocina:

No he hecho nada esta semana, lamentablemente. Aunque, yo haré crepes mañana, y ya he hecho la mezcla esta mañana. También yo haré suflé con suerte, o tal vez un otro algo. Ya veremos. El tiempo necesito preparando estos platos está disminuyendo, lo que es muy buen: deseo a hacer estas cosas durante de la semana más frecuentemente. Además, una familia aquí mi dio un regalo: ¡una tabla de cortar y quesos! Estoy muy emocionado por esto. ¡Ellos son que tan agradables! Informaré sobre los quesos la semana próxima. Y la tabla de cortar es muy buena y hecho de madera de olivo; estoy muy emocionado por la usar también. Ellos nos dieron un mini arból de Navidad además. ¡Que amable! No sé qué decir.

Noticias de la obra misional:

Tenemos muchas personas que estamos enseñando ahora, y los milagros siguen sucediendo. Esta semana, empezamos enseñar cuatro personas nuevas, todos de los cuales fueron muy prometedor. He graduado ahora, que implicaba enseñando dos otros misioneros con experiencia sobre el Evangelio. (Esto significa que yo he terminado mi capacitación.) Hay cinco lecciones enseñamos a otros, cada uno de los cuales contiene diversos principios, que podemos usar separadamente: por lo tanto, podemos combinar partes de varias lecciones en la practica. Pero, las cinco lecciones son: la Restauración de la Evangelio de Jesucristo (que contiene la historia de la iglesia y José Smith), el Plan de Salvación (la plan de Dios para nosotros y el mundo en total), el Evangelio de Jesucristo (como podemos regresar a vivir con Dios en el cielo), los Mandamientos (cosas Dios desea que sigamos), y las Leyes y Ordenanzas (cosas de nuestra iglesia que no coinciden las otras lecciones). Yo recomendé Mateo 1-2 y Lucas 1-2 la última vez, y yo recomiendo el mismo hoy, con Navidad esta semana. Espero que ustedes tenemos una Navidad muy buena. Además: si usted está interesado en aprendiendo que el Libro de Mormón es y representa, trate leyendo 3 Nephi 11 esta semana. Es un capitulo sobre Jesucristo, y es perfecto para esta temporada navideña.

English Translation:

Hello all!

Today I am going to try using a new way of formatting my weekly letters, and will put the things that happened this week in three parts: one for my cooking, one for the mission work, and one for some spiritual thoughts. This week has been very good, as always, and I hope that next week will be the same.

Cooking news:

I didn't make anything this week, unfortunately. However, I will be making crepes tomorrow, and I already made the mix this morning. I will also hopefully make souffle this next week, or perhaps something else. We will see. The time needed to prepare these dishes is decreasing, which is good: I want to make these things more often during the week. Additionally, a family here gave me a gift: a cutting board and cheeses! I am super excited because of this. They are so nice! I will report on the cheeses next week. And the cutting board is very good and made of olive wood; I am very excited to use it as well. They gave us a mini Christmas tree too. How kind! I don't know what to say.

Mission work news:

We have many people we are teaching right now, and the miracles keep coming. This week, we started teaching four new people, all of whom are very promising. I've graduated now, which involved teaching two other experienced missionaries about the Gospel. (This means that I've finished my training.) There are five lessons we teach to others, each of which contains several principles, which we can use separately: thus, we can combine parts of different lessons in practice. But, the five lessons are: the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (which contains the history of the church and Joseph Smith), the Plan of Salvation (God's plan for us and the world as a whole), the Gospel of Jesus Christ (how we can return to live with God in heaven), the Commandments (things God wants us to follow), and the Laws and Ordinances (things in our church that don't fit in the other lessons). In practice, however, people need to follow their own paths to learn, and it's rare for us to follow the last two lessons in order especially.

Spiritual thoughts, or perhaps Spiritual Corner with Elder Brannon:

I'm reading the Gospel according to St. Luke right now in my quest to read all of the gospels ahead of Christmas, and the reading has been so good! I recommended Matthew 1-2 and Luke 1-2 last time, and I recommend the same today, with Christmas this week. I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. Additonally: if you are interested in learning what the Book of Mormon is and represents, try reading 3 Nephi 11 this week. It's a chapter about Jesus Christ, and is perfect for this Christmas season.
