Hello all!

Unlike the usual, this week's letter will be in English. Why, you may ask? Because I have big news!

We have three new baptismal dates!!

Yes! When I sent my last entry, I had yet to extend the baptismal invitation (at least outside of the MTC) and we didn't have any active dates. However, this week (and the week before) all of our hard work from the last seven weeks has come together and culminated in three new dates:

(1) The parents in the family of four I've previously described! They are absolutely awesome (also they read these blogs now apparently, which I found out yesterday!) and it's so exciting to see them coming closer to Christ. They are in many ways similar to my own family, so it's almost as if I'm on the other side of my own baptism. They're so amazing! They've attended church several times now and everyone in the ward loves them. I might post a picture with them next week if I can get permission. (The date is in January.)

(2) Another investigator we have been teaching for a while (she's awesome too!). The date was set for this month and will almost certainly fall through at this point due to their family commitments, but we're hoping to reschedule for sometime in January. God is good!

Baking updates:

(1) I made crêpes with apple cinnamon filling, but unfortunately I don't have a photo of the final product, just of me cooking them. They were very tasty!

(2) I made brownies using Duncan Hines mix a member gave us, and ended up giving four to one of the people with whom we're meeting (he's awesome!).

(3) Today, I made soufflé again, but this time I threw in some cinnamon too! It gets better every time. So poofy.

I hate to go another week without a cheese on which to report, but by my understanding I might be able to get some good cheeses to taste next week or soon after that. We will see.

Transfers are coming up at the end of this week. Hopefully neither Elder Richards or I will be moved. One of the sisters in our district will be going home, however, and there will probably be a change in the other set of elders. I will also be graduating after just eight weeks, which is absolutely insane! Normally missionaries wait twelve weeks, but since I came in halfway through a transfer and this transfer is a week short because of Christmas, my graduation will be very early. I do not feel prepared at all.

Have a wonderful week!

What does "graduating" mean in your mission world? Also, what did you do with the refrigerator box? I am so excited for your upcoming baptisms. And your cooking looks like it is going great! I'll be sending more recipes.
